Averzian wins if he claims three squares in a row. Soak Umbral Collapse on contested territory, kill adds before they cast, and keep the tank out of corners near a Dark Tear. If you lose the grid, it's a wipe.
Boss Abilities
Shadow's Advance
Averzian summons Voidshapers across the arena. Get out of the landing zone and kill them before they claim territory.
Umbral Collapse
Stack on the marked spot to share the damage. If it hits one person alone, it one-shots them.
Oblivion's Wrath
Void projectiles fly across the arena. Dodge the lines or they knock you into a bad position.
Void Fall
Void meteors rain down at random. Get off the impact markers.
Dark Upheaval
Constant raid-wide shadow damage. Heal through it and save big healer cooldowns for the spikes.
Blackening Wounds
Stacking tank debuff that makes you the target of the add rush. Swap before it gets too high or you get swarmed.
Void Claimed
Never tank the boss near a claimed purple square. He becomes nearly invulnerable and hits 75% harder.
